We had more snow today… got a couple of more inches…
it sure was coming down hard at one point…
We had been keeping the chickens in their run…
But once the snow let up a little I opened the door and they still would only come to the door… but that’s okay.
Chase is loving the snow and spending time with me outside doing chores

It’s a little chilly, but nothing a warm jacket won’t help with…. well as long as the wind doesn’t come as predicted Sunday.

We’re getting the same here but I don’t let the chickens out as long as there’s snow on the ground. Today will be my last day to hunt and I’m planning to go out a while this afternoon if the wind doesn’t get on a tear!! We had some beautiful big flakes falling a couple times this morning but it never accumulated or lasted very long. I’m afraid we’ll have the ice we have now for some time. Stay warm! Good day for a big bowl of homemade soup!!

I don’t have to worry our “ladies” won’t go out in the snow eben when the door is open
We had some big flakes too and luckly it did not ice too much
